Important Information

Check-in and Check-out Procedures

  • Check-in is after 4pm. Check-out is by 10am.
  • Must electronically sign an additional Rental Agreement Terms and Conditions and any Neighborhood Rules sent by Host (property manager) or entry information cannot be sent.
  • Must be at least 25 years old to reserve. This person is required to be the person signing the agreement and must be one of the persons staying in the property for the reserved dates.

Property Access

  • Parking for three vehicles is provided. A few steps are required to enter the main level.
  • This property has the following security cameras in place: camera #1 at entrance door wall pointed towards entrance steps, camera #2 on front left side wall of house pointing towards parking area, and camera #3 on rear deck wall pointed at the rear entrance steps. No cameras monitor the interior of the home or common gathering areas.
  • Guests do not have access to the locked-off portion of the Sportsman's Lodge, the Fitness Center, or the Wine & Cigar Bar. That is for member use only.

Policies and Rules

  • No smoking inside the home. No trace of smoking left outside the home.
  • No parties or gatherings above the posted occupancy allowed at any time. Keep outside noise respectable.
  • Do not leave food or trash outside as it could attract animals. All trash must be bagged and placed in the trash receptacle indicated in the Welcome Book inside the house or your digital guidebook.
  • Guests are not allowed to bring their own ATVs. For information about ATV rentals, please visit: offroadadventuresnc.
  • Guests are responsible for supplying their own recreational equipment (basketballs, soccer balls, tennis equipment, etc.).
  • Minimum age: 25 years.
  • Children allowed.
  • No events allowed.

Fees and Payments

  • All stays at Eagles Nest homes have an additional amenity fee in order to maintain the facilities and features in the development.
  • Firewood may be added at the time of booking or by reaching out to us more than a week in advance. You receive two wrapped bundles and a firestarter for $25/night.
  • Eagles Nest Winery day passes are available onsite for $25.00 each.
  • Summer concerts are open to all guests; however, there may be an admission fee for each person and cash bar for food and drinks.
  • CANCELLATION POLICY: Bookings canceled within 24 hours of their creation will receive a full refund of payments. Bookings canceled more than 24 hours after their creation are not entitled to a refund unless the reservation dates are rebooked to another guest. All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.
  • This home allows up to 4 mature, well-trained dogs with an additional pet rent of $50 per pet per night plus tax. Pets other than dogs are not permitted. Please crate dogs when left alone.

Parking Information

  • Parking for three vehicles is provided.

Utilities and Amenities Access

  • All Eagles Nest homes have internet, but some areas of travel may not have cell reception.
  • All linens and towels are provided for your stay.
  • The kitchen is well stocked with all utensils needed to cook meals. A "starter set" of paper products is provided: a roll of toilet paper per bath, several garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one or two nights. Hair dryers are not provided.
  • Bearingers Bluff provides access to most amenities inside of Eagles Nest. Amenities available include:
    • Great Camp: BBQ Pavilion, Amphitheater (location of summer concerts May through November), The Great Lawn, Playground, Hiking Trails, Ropes Course and Climbing Tower (seasonal), Mini-Golf Course, 24/7 General Store
    • North Pavilion: Ball Field, Sportsman's Lodge (unlocked portion only), Sports Court (Basketball and Pickleball), Dog Park, Walking Trail, Sportsman's Grille (Wed-Sun. Hours vary), Fire Pit, Woodland Trail System (ATV Trails, Hiking, Biking)
    • Camp (BYO Equipment): Tennis Courts, Pickleball, Disc Golf, Archery (Restrooms and Pavilion coming soon)
    • Vineyard: Food and wine served; Eagles Nest Winery day passes are available onsite for $25.00 each; HOURS: Thur & Fri 4pm-10pm, Sat & Sun 1pm-7pm. All visitors at the winery must be 16 years or older. This is strictly enforced.

Safety and Emergency Information

  • This property has security cameras as described above. No cameras monitor interior or gathering areas.
  • 4WD/AWD and/or chains are recommended and may be required during winter (Nov-March). Travelers visiting during winter should come prepared with an AWD or 4WD vehicle, and chains may also be required if it snows. No refunds, allowances, or date changes will be given to travelers who are not prepared with the proper vehicle, as outlined in the Rental Agreement.
  • Eagles Nest is an active community with construction occurring in several neighborhoods. Construction noises may be heard 7am-7pm Monday through Saturday.
